Special Restoration Workday at Stewart Lake
Event Dates
- Saturday, 10/25/2025 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Event Description
Join the Friends of Stewart Lake for a special restoration workday in the 'Blue View Prairie' portion of the park (behind the 400 block of Blue View Drive in Mt Horeb). This prairie has been undergoing restoration for the past 7 years and progressing well. We will be doing different tasks: cutting and removing woody invasive vegetation, forming a brush pile and collecting/sowing seeds.
Enjoy a few hours outdoors at this beautiful location. Your help for a few hours in this important restoration work before winter will be very appreciated.
